The Blue Canyon Private Game Reserve is home to most of South Africa's most famous and rarest game, with more than 40 mammals and 400 bird species on the conservancy.
Some animals spotted are Wild Dogs, Spotted Hyenas and Brown Hyena, Caracals, Civet, Cheetahs, Rhinos and Hippos and due to the excellent veld conditions, it also has a wide variety of plains game such as Waterbuck, Wildebeest, Zebra, Giraffe, Kudu, Nyala, Duiker, Steenbok, Bushpig, and dozens of other species and many species of birds including breading Southern Ground Hornbill.
The Kruger National Park is located 30 km away from Moditlo and the Blyde Canyon, with it’s many walking trails is nearby. The airport with daily flights from Johannesburg and Cape Town is only 10 km away.
