The reserve extends over 3,200 ha of pristine bushveld within a larger game reserve with 450 ha full title stands. There are seasonal rivers providing lush riverine vegetation including beautiful trees such as Weeping Boerbean, Jackal berry and Ana trees. The Reserve has lots of iconic bushveld game including Lion, Rhino, Leopard, Elephant, Hyena, Cheetah, Giraffe, Zebra, Waterbuck, Wildebeest, Kudu, Impala, Warthog and small game. Over 40 mammals, 300 bird and 50 tree species can be identified in the reserve.
