Lissataba is 30 years old and a well-established 2,500-hectare private reserve based in Limpopo province. The reserve borders the Olifants river on which a large section of the houses is situated. With the exception of Leopard the reserve does not house any of the big five. The general game includes the popular species such as Giraffe, Zebra, Wildebeest, Nyala, Kudu, waterbuck, Impala, Klipspringer, Duiker, Warthog and Jackal. But one also gets some special species such as Sharpes Grysbok, Eland, Brown Hyena, and Sable. Hippo and Crocodile also live along the Olifants River. There are 5 dams and the reserve of which three have bird hides. The reserve is 50km on road from our closest town Hoedspruit and located North East on the Northern Bank of the Olifants. There is a good network of roads around the reserve for game viewing and Lissataba allows walking and cycling. There is good security and internet accessibility.
