This extremely pretty farm is set amongst iconic rocky outcrops. The farm is conveniently located between Gravelotte, Hoedspruit and Phalaborwa.
This sizeable farm is currently used as a hunting farm but can also be used in any other number of ways. The scenery is beautiful with 11 rocky outcrops, 6 dams, 3 waterholes, beautiful large Lowveld trees and even a river that runs through the property. This river is dry much of the time, but does flow from time to time. The waterholes are topped up by means of pumps that are connected to solar panels.
There are 7 breeding camps making up approximately 210 hectares of land. Each camp is fenced with electric fencing. Feed and water is provided in these camps. Currently two of the camps are in use; one with Nyala and one with Black Impala.
Other game species on the farm include Wildebeest, Giraffe, Eland, Impala, Zebra, Kudu, Klipspringer, Sharps Grysbok, Waterbuck, Warthogs and Buffalo. Predators frequent the farm too and these include, Leopard, hyena and jackal, while nocturnal species include civet, Aardvark, porcupine, civet, genet and honey badger.
The farm also has abattoir facilities, a number of braai areas and stunning views over the Lowveld. The farm runs on Eskom power and there is a borehole for water.
The farm comprises 3 camps plus a 180 m² two-bedroom house for the Professional Hunter who lives on the property. This is known as Marula Camp. Here is additional information about the other camps:
Rock Camp is set amongst beautiful Fever Trees and built against a rocky outcrop. The camp comprises a central living area with lounge, dining, kitchen, patio and boma area. There are 4 air-conditioned, en-suite bedrooms. There is also an en-suite cottage built into the rocks.
Bataleur Camp is in walking distance from Rock Camp. It comprises 4 en-suite chalets as well as a central living area. Two of the chalets have air-conditioning. The central area is made up of a kitchen, dining area, lounge, laundry and patio.
Nyala Camp is beautifully set with a stunning rocky outcrop backdrop. The camp comprises a central living area as well as 4 en-suite chalets. The central area comprises lounge, dining area, kitchen, pantry, patio and pool. There is also a separate building which comprises domestic quarters, laundry and workshop.
There is ample parking at all of the camps.
