The house is a 4-bedroom holiday home, with 3 bathrooms. It is tiled and has a lower maintenance roof than thatch. The two downstairs rooms are en-suite with a shower, toilet and basin. They enter from the patio and have ceilings ensuring they remain clean and dust free. There are mosquito screens on the windows, and a ceiling fan. There is ample linen for all the bedrooms and cupboards for one’s clothes.
Located between the two downstairs main bedrooms is a kitchen, storeroom, toilet and the outdoor patio. The kitchen can be entered from the car port or patio. It is a compact kitchen with a serving window to the patio. The kitchen has a microwave, two hot plates, fridges, washing machine and enough crockery and kitchen ware for 10 people. The storeroom is fully equipped with maintenance items, storage cupboards, outdoor furniture, lanterns and other household items.
The two large upstairs rooms have a shared bathroom with shower, toilet and basin. There are single beds and the stair case enters from the outside starting at the end of the patio. The upstairs rooms have ceiling fans and have a portion of open-air flow through the fly screens.
The patio looks out into the bush with several large trees in front of the house and a path leads to a boma and braai area. Behind the house is a small store room, double carport, and an outdoor shower.
The property is sold furnished and includes an operational game viewing Land Rover.
Jejane Nature Reserve is a privately owned 2,100 ha reserve, situated in the Greater Kruger Park, bordering greater Balule Nature Reserve in the North and the Klaserie Nature Reserve in the East. One has open access to the this unique ecosystem forming part of the Kruger Park. It has traversing of 2400 ha, and has extra traversing with another adjacent property of 300 ha. It is situated a mere 5 km from the town of Hoedspruit and is accessible via a good quality dirt road, making it uniquely convenient to its shareholders. There are 47 shareholders with around 45 homes situated within this undulating bushveld ecosystem.
Jejane is an exceptionally well-managed farm with biodiversity studies being done regularly, in order to ensure that the fine balance between man and beast is maintained and preserved for the future. While regular anti-poaching patrols and a live-in team of maintenance staff and management ensure that all aspects of the reserve function smoothly and without incident. Security is very good an there is easy access to Hoedspruit. Homes have electricity and water supplied by the reserve, which is run as a share block.
