Corporate Profile
In 2006, Duncan Gray, the national franchisor for the CENTURY 21 System in South Africa, secured the franchise rights for this country. CENTURY 21 South Africa officially launched in October 2007, after establishing its Founding Franchise members during that preceding year. Franchise sales continue to expand the national footprint with offices now covering large areas of South Africa, from Cape Town, along the Garden Route to Knysna, through Port Elizabeth to East London and on to Johannesburg, through Pretoria and into the Limpopo Province with offices in Bela Bela and Polokwane. Offices can also be located elsewhere such as in Mpumalanga and Kwazulu Natal, but with great opportunities yet for expansion as more and more franchisees join this leading world brand , much growth and development of this South African real estate organisation can be expected over the next number of years. Current rollout plans describe approximately 150 to 200 offices by 2014.
In global real estate terms, one would be very hard pressed to find a real estate organisation larger and with more offices and reach than the CENTURY 21 System. With more than 8 500 offices and 150 000 agents in over 67 countries and territories, the CENTURY 21 System can comfortably make a claim as the World’s Largest Real Estate Company.

Globally, the CENTURY 21 System logos, marks, patents and trademarks are owned by the world’s largest real estate franchisor, Century 21 Real Estate LLC , based in Parsippany, New Jersey, USA. This organisation came into being in 1971 in Orange County, but soon expanded its areas of operation to the extent of where it is now present on virtually all the major landmasses of the world today. From New York to Paris, from Sydney to Shanghai, from Tokyo to London, from Dubai to Moscow and many places in between, the CENTURY 21 sign has become a household name and come to represent in many people’s mind, “the Gold Standard of Real Estate ”.
